SERVICE — CONSTRUCTION
Precision engineering,zero-defect delivery
DATA CENTER CONSTRUCTION
From structured cabling and equipment installation through to testing and acceptance, we follow the design specification to the letter — so every stage lands exactly as drawn, and the facility reaches your hands on time and without defects.
Four core service pillars
A rigorous project management methodology coordinates civil, MEP and IT contractors, keeping every construction stage built to drawing, transparent on progress and controlled on quality — from groundbreaking to handover.
Progress control
Daily site logs and a live progress dashboard let owners check status at any time.
Multi-vendor coordination
One point of contact integrating HVAC, power, low-voltage and fire protection contractors.
Quality assurance
Inspection and test plans (ITP) at every work stage keep quality aligned to specification.
Site management scope checklist
- ✓Pre-construction drawing review and BIM clash detection
- ✓Safety induction training and permit applications
- ✓Work breakdown structure (WBS) creation and tracking
- ✓Daily site walks and defect management
- ✓Material inspection on delivery and storage control
- ✓Subcontractor performance review and coordination meetings
- ✓Change order management
- ✓Milestone gate review reporting
- ✓Punch list execution and close-out
PROJECT INSIGHT
We run a digital site management platform: every inspection record, photo and report is uploaded in real time, so owners can review from a phone — dramatically cutting communication round trips.
Structured cabling installed to TIA-568 / ISO 11801, from backbone fibre to endpoint copper. Every link is tested and certified, so transmission performance meets the design specification.
Fibre installation
OM4 multimode / OS2 singlemode splicing and pre-terminated assemblies, OTDR verified throughout.
Copper distribution
Cat6A U/FTP to the endpoint, supporting 10GbE with permanent link channel certification.
Labelling & records
ANSI/TIA-606 identification standard paired with an electronic cable management database.
Structured cabling scope checklist
- ✓Backbone fibre route planning and pathway installation
- ✓MDA / HDA / EDA patch frame installation
- ✓OM4 / OS2 fibre splicing and testing
- ✓Cat6A endpoint copper installation and termination
- ✓Segregated power and data pathway installation
- ✓Cable tray and ladder rack installation
- ✓OTDR fibre test report issuance
- ✓Fluke DSX / Versiv copper certification testing
- ✓Cable management database build and handover
PERFORMANCE SPEC
All copper channels must certify to TIA-568-C.2 Cat6A permanent link, and fibre insertion loss must beat the design value by 0.5 dB — so upgrading to 25G/40G later needs no recabling.
From racking and cable dressing to system initialisation, every device is installed against a factory pre-staging plan — avoiding improvised on-site decisions and accelerating time to production.
Server racking
Rail installation, cable management, BIOS / IPMI initial configuration and burn-in testing.
Network deployment
Switch / router / firewall racking, base configuration, VLAN setup and connectivity testing.
Storage integration
SAN / NAS / all-flash array installation, HBA setup, LUN planning and host connectivity validation.
Equipment installation scope checklist
- ✓Factory pre-staging test before installation
- ✓Rack rail installation and equipment mounting
- ✓A/B power path connection verification
- ✓KVM / console server integration and setup
- ✓IPMI / iDRAC / iLO out-of-band management setup
- ✓OS installation and firmware updates
- ✓HBA / NIC / GPU driver installation and validation
- ✓72-hour burn-in stress testing
- ✓Asset register (CMDB) creation
PRE-STAGING ADVANTAGE
Factory pre-staging completes 80% of configuration before equipment ships, cutting on-site installation time by an average of 60% and sharply reducing the risk of operator error in a live facility.
On completion we run systematic integration testing covering power transfer, cooling performance, network connectivity and access control, then issue the full as-built documentation so the facility transfers in optimal condition.
Power transfer testing
Simulated utility failure verifying UPS transfer < 10 ms and generator start < 30 s.
Thermal imaging survey
Infrared thermography under full load confirming no hot spots or cooling blind zones.
As-built handover
As-built drawings, operating manuals, warranty schedule and training, delivered in full.
Testing and acceptance checklist
- ✓FAT factory acceptance testing (pre-shipment)
- ✓SAT site acceptance testing (post-installation)
- ✓UAT user acceptance testing (owner confirmation)
- ✓UPS discharge and transfer time measurement
- ✓Power quality analysis (harmonics, voltage stability)
- ✓Full-load stress testing (72 hours continuous monitoring)
- ✓Network loop testing and SLA baseline establishment
- ✓Fire / access control / CCTV integration testing
- ✓As-built drawings and maintenance manual delivery
DOCUMENTATION PACKAGE
Once acceptance passes we hand over a complete facility package — as-built drawings for every system, configuration backups, warranty schedules and SOP operating manuals — so ongoing operations start on solid ground.
Six phases of standard construction
Built to international standards
Anchor Data Insfrastructure Corporation's construction procedures follow international data center and information security standards. Our engineers hold the relevant professional certifications, so every build can withstand third-party audit.
