Precise planning,a solid foundation

DATA CENTER DESIGN SERVICES

Design is the bedrock of every downstream engineering decision. Anchor Data Insfrastructure Corporation starts from requirements analysis and works to the TIA-942 international standard, integrating power, cooling, security and space into a blueprint where every detail can be verified.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Good design starts with three promises

We believe data center design is not a stack of technical documents, but an engineering language that must be understood, verified and executed.

01
📐

Quantifiable
design standards

Every design decision rests on data. From load calculation to airflow simulation, each conclusion can be reproduced and verified — engineering principles, never intuition.

Headroom for
the future

A data center typically outlives a decade of hardware. Our designs meet today's requirement while reserving power capacity, cooling margin and rack space, so expansion never means starting over.

Design as a
shared language

Clear drawings and narrative let owners, procurement and auditors read the same document. Less translation loss, faster decisions, and design deliverables that actually earn their keep.

DESIGN AREAS

Four core design disciplines

Data center design spans four interdependent specialisms. Anchor Data Insfrastructure Corporation delivers them as one integrated design so the systems work together — with no blind spots left between them.

01
🗂
Rack Layout
RACK LAYOUT

Optimal rack and space allocation based on load density, thermal behaviour and your expansion path — integrating cable management and equipment circulation so every rack unit earns its place.

  • Load density analysis and per-rack power estimation
  • Thermal zoning across compute, network and storage
  • Cable tray and containment route planning
  • Staging area and equipment circulation design
  • BIM 3D model clash detection

02
Power Design
POWER DESIGN — UPS / DUAL FEED

Designed around N+1 or 2N redundancy, integrating UPS, PDU, ATSE and diesel generation so no single point of failure can interrupt the business.

  • UPS capacity calculation and modular architecture selection
  • A/B dual-path power to every rack
  • Automatic generator transfer (ATSE < 10 s)
  • DCIM power monitoring platform integration
  • PUE forecasting and energy efficiency recommendations
03
Cooling Systems
COOLING — HOT / COLD AISLE

Hot/cold aisle containment paired with CFD airflow simulation to eliminate hot spots precisely — supporting precision cooling, liquid cooling and hybrid approaches, targeting PUE ≤ 1.4.

  • Thermal load calculation and cooling architecture selection
  • Fully contained cold / hot aisle design
  • CFD dynamic airflow simulation report
  • High-density direct liquid cooling (DLC) integration
  • Precision cooling N+1 redundancy layout

🔒
Physical Security
PHYSICAL SECURITY DESIGN

A defence-in-depth strategy layering protection from the perimeter to the rack, integrating access control, surveillance, environmental sensing and fire suppression to satisfy ISO 27001 and financial-sector regulation.

🪪
Access Control Design

Multi-factor authentication (card + PIN + biometrics), zoned privilege tiers and interlocked mantrap vestibules.

📹
CCTV Coverage Planning

Full-coverage camera placement with no blind spots, AI video analytics and long-term retention strategy.

🌡
Environmental Sensing

VESDA very-early smoke detection, temperature and humidity sensor arrays, and site-wide leak detection cabling.

💨
Fire Suppression

Clean-agent suppression (FM200 / Novec) engineered to NFPA 75 and local regulatory requirements.

DESIGN WORKFLOW

Six phases
of standard design

A disciplined design management process ensures every decision is properly evidenced and every document can be audited and cited. From requirements interview to full documentation handover, the whole path stays transparent and traceable.

TYPICAL DESIGN CYCLE 6 — 10 weeks

PHASE 01

Requirements interview & site assessment

We develop a deep understanding of business goals, IT load forecasts and the three-to-five year expansion plan, audit existing facility conditions, and set the design objectives and target Tier level.

⏱ 3 — 5 working days

DELIVERABLES

  • Requirements interview record and sign-off
  • Existing facility assessment report
  • Design objective and Tier level recommendation

PHASE 02

Concept design & option comparison

We present two to three design concepts and compare them on cost, performance, scalability and risk, so the owner can make a properly evidenced choice.

⏱ 1 week

DELIVERABLES

  • Concept comparison report (2–3 options)
  • Rough order of magnitude (ROM) cost estimate
  • Option selection sign-off

PHASE 03

Schematic design

Floor layout, electrical single-line diagram, cooling schematic and security zoning plan are completed, establishing the framework the detailed design will build on.

⏱ 2 — 3 weeks

DELIVERABLES

  • Floor layout drawings (CAD / BIM)
  • Electrical single-line diagram (E-CAD)
  • Cooling system architecture diagram
  • Security zoning plan

PHASE 04

Detail design

All construction drawings, equipment specifications, CFD airflow validation and the complete BOM are finished to a depth that can go straight out to tender.

⏱ 3 — 4 weeks

DELIVERABLES

  • Complete construction drawing set (all systems)
  • Equipment technical specifications
  • CFD airflow simulation validation report
  • Bill of materials (BOM)
  • TIA-942 compliance analysis report

PHASE 05

Design review & owner sign-off

We convene a design review meeting, walk through the rationale behind each decision, incorporate the owner's technical team feedback, and issue the revised, final design.

⏱ 1 week

DELIVERABLES

  • Design review minutes of meeting (MOM)
  • Comment response tracking register
  • Final approved design set

PHASE 06

Full documentation handover

We issue the complete design package — drawings, specifications, simulation reports, BOM and tender documents — ready for the owner to use directly for procurement and construction.

⏱ 2 — 3 working days

FINAL PACKAGE

  • Complete design set (CAD / Revit / PDF)
  • Equipment specifications and BOM
  • CFD report + TIA-942 compliance report
  • Tender technical specification (SOW)
  • Design narrative presentation (owner edition)

01

An independent, objective design position

We do not represent any equipment vendor. Design recommendations start from the owner's interest, equipment selection is transparent, and your procurement decisions rest on real technical grounds.

02

Design and construction, seamlessly joined

Anchor Data Insfrastructure Corporation also delivers construction, with the same engineering team carrying a project from design through to site — sharply reducing drawing-interpretation gaps and on-site change risk.

03

Deep multi-sector design experience

Spanning finance (regulatory audit), manufacturing (OT/IT convergence), government (data protection) and e-commerce (high-density AI racks) — we have delivered real projects in each.

04

Continued post-design support

After documentation handover we provide 12 months of design advisory, answering technical questions during construction so the built result faithfully reflects the design intent.
